A Notion or Two January Block

This year I have become a part of a wonderful quilting bee called A Notion or Two. Yesterday I finally finished my block for Amy. It was the first time that I've ever done applique, but it was pretty fun.

I really enjoy your blog! I am really crafty too and its cool to see your projects! ( My roommate sylecia knew you at HA I am Jan 04)

I wanted to ask you a question...

You have a lot of the same tastes as me it seems and I just moved into a new apt and I want to decorate it more colorful and artsy. I love anthro but its $$. Where do you get furniture? Do you buy anything online? What do you think is a good way to bring color into a room with out painting? ( I dont feel like painting back )

Thanks!

Deborah

Great ideas! I really want my home to feel more "me" and more creative and less cookie cutter crate and barrell.

MY husband and I own a design firm and I noticed you do graphic design. He does mostly flash/actionscript and other programming and I want to get more into photography and graphic stuff.

I saw on one of your blogs a resume type packet you made...what programs did you use to make the business cards and things. I want to do somthing like that but I am trying to find a good web site to print it... do you just print it yourself?

You seem really talented!!

Deborah
