This Saturday's post is a spotlight on my parents' beautiful yard. They live in a beautiful 100 year old farmhouse (the same one I grew up in) in Southern Virginia. Since the weather is so beautiful here today, I thought I would highlight a few of the beautiful details of their home and yard. So sit back, grab a glass of good ol' sweet tea, and enjoy.
P.S. This beautiful location was also the place that my Hubby and I were married...the ceremony was on the front porch and the reception was in the backyard.
I hope you enjoyed this post today. Next Saturday I will be posting photos of the inside of their lovely country chic home, which is just as, if not more, beautiful than their yard.

I wish I had a house like that...it's gorgeous! Reminds me of my childhood home that I miss dearly. If we were still living there my wedding and reception would be there too! Patrick wants to buy it back one day. That is my dream :) these pics are beautiful though and I love the broken flower pot! I want to do that cause it makes it look so....much better lol

This made me smile to think back to that porch being painted right before the wedding and my daughter walking through the not quite dried paint.
Not so funny that she was sick right before your big day, but it all worked out and what a beautiful day it was!
Thank you for sharing our home with others. It makes me very happy that you love it as much as we do..... can't wait to see next week's pictures....even though I live here every day!!!!
And to Ginger..... that beautiful foot print is still on the porch!!
