The 2010 "
A Notion or Two Quilting Bee" has finally begun! I was so excited Friday when I got my fabric in the mail from
Penny. Her inspiration for the blocks came from
here and
here. I'll admit I was kinda intimidated at first, but once I laid the fabric out on my craft table, the ideas began to flow and this is what I came up with...


I machine-appliqued the door of the house and I think it adds some cute texture and dimension to it.

I really enjoyed piecing this block. It was a lot of trial and error with a very flexible plan that worked together nicely. Thanks
Penny for the opportunity to be challenged. This is what I love about being a part of at Quilting Bee.
