Thanksgiving was so very special for us this year. It was the first Thanksgiving we've been home to Virginia in 5 years...basically the first time we've been home with family for this special holiday as a couple. And if that wasn't special enough, we had Little Man with us to enjoy the festivities, which meant meeting lots and lots of family.
The morning of Thanksgiving started with Monkey Bread and coffee...
Parade watching with Daddy...
And of course a morning nap because even the cutest turkeys get tired.
There was a lot of time spent in the kitchen prepping all of the yummy food.
Looks like Daddy got confused of who the real turkey was. He is, after all, cute enough to eat!
And lots and lots of time for cuddles and lovin'.
But then, who could resist cuddling and kissing this sweet face?
After stuffing ourselves with the yummy-ness that is Thanksgiving dinner, there was the "great meeting" or as Dustin's dad said, a time for Little Man to be passed around more than the mashed potatoes around the table. So for 4 days, Little Man got to meet many of our family members (and this isn't even all of them!)
Meeting Pop-Pop (Dustin's Dad)
There were aunts to meet...Great Aunt Sally (or Sasa as we call her).
Great Aunt Betty Sue.
Uncles to meet...Great Uncle Jeff
...and Great Uncle Wayne.
Cousin's to meet...Ashley...
...And Chloe.
And of course, his one great-grandparent...Nanny.
Even Amos (my parents' dog) wanted to meet him.
We're beyond thankful for the amazing time that it was and our hearts are so full with the love that was poured out on our Little Man. Can't wait to til his first Christmas when he gets to spend it with Grandmama & Grandiddy, Uncle Nick, and Ga-maw & Pop-Pop.
